Washacre Major makes leaps and bounds with forest faculty

Washacre Major Faculty in Westhoughton has had its out of doors classroom since 2018, a big space of land behind the constructing the place kids can play in nature with out having to depart the premises. 

The forest faculty, which has largely been tended to by website supervisor Colin Jones, boasts bees, chickens and frogs, in addition to quite a lot of vegetation and amenities for its kids.

“He spoke to Community Rail, who donated 3.5 tons of wooden chips and logs to make it extra accessible for kids in wheelchairs.

She added: “We have now had the forest faculty since 2018, it’s one thing now we have been growing.
