(Reuters) – The and the Nasdaq opened greater on Tuesday after a holiday-extended weekend, with buyers awaiting key inflation knowledge later within the week that would affect expectations for the Federal Reserve’s coverage trajectory.

The fell 40.6 factors, or 0.10%, on the open to 39,028.99. The S&P 500 rose 11.2 factors, or 0.21%, on the open to five,315.91​, whereas the rose 67.5 factors, or 0.40%, to 16,988.315 on the opening bell.
