Centre targets Rs 10,000 crore from monetisation of ports in FY25 | Information

With the purpose of accelerating the share of public-private partnership (PPP) in ports, the Centre will look to monetise property value Rs 10,000 crore in 2024-25 (FY25), in response to a number of sources accustomed to the developments.


The Ministry of Ports, Delivery and Waterways has submitted a monetisation pipeline of Rs 10,000 crore, consisting of five-seven initiatives, to NITI Aayog — the central suppose tank and nodal authorities physique for asset monetisation — in response to a senior authorities official.
