Big visits: 5-stars visiting Auburn, Texas; Tennessee hosting flip targets
The Early Signing Period is merely days away.
Top recruits around the country in the 2025 and 2026 classes are making their way to campuses as they get a final look at schools and contenders ahead of what will be a riveting final few days of the 2025 recruiting cycle leading into the Early Signing Period that begins on December 4.
Here’s a look at some of the biggest visits on the schedule for the weekend ahead as Auburn and Texas host some five-star prospects, while Tennessee aims to further its position to pull off a late flip to close out this class. Clemson, South Carolina, and Ohio State also welcoming blue-chippers to town.
Here’s more on the weekend on tap:
FIVE-STAR DL JUSTUS TERRY VISITING AUBURN
A visit back to Auburn has been on the books for five-star DL Justus Terry for weeks. Hugh Freeze and this Auburn staff have continued to chip away at the No. 9 overall player in the Rivals250 out of Georgia for the bulk of the fall, and now Terry is set to return to the Plains as one of his final stops before announcing his commitment one last time in December.
Georgia and Alabama have been the two teams trending at at the top with Terry since he reopened his recruitment over the summer. Auburn, along with Florida State and Texas, have continued to work feverishly to try and stay afloat in this race.
Terry made his way out to Austin last month to catch Texas and Georgia square off for an official visit. His visit to The Plains this weekend will be his first in months as the Tigers also aim to make a late surge in this one. Under Freeze, Auburn has made bigger moves in less time — though this task is taller.
As time winds down until Signing Day, the Dawgs continue to hold the edge over the Crimson Tide and others for the five-star DL.
FIVE-STAR OT MICHAEL FASUSI VISITING TEXAS
Michael Fasusi was originally planning to return to Norman this weekend as Oklahoma hosts Alabama at home. Instead, the five-star offensive tackle is set to return to Texas for the first time since declaring for the Sooners over the Longhorns in August ahead of his senior season at Lewisville (Texas) High School.
Both Texas and Texas A&M have continued to chip away at the five-star offensive tackle for weeks behind the scenes, and they are moving their chips to the middle of the table as December approaches. The Longhorns have been angling to get the elite in-state OL back on campus ever since head coach Steve Sarkisian and Chris Gilbert visited Fasusi at his school last month.
Fasusi is also expected to be in College Station next weekend when Texas A&M hosts Texas to close out the regular season. Our Rivals intel points to Fasusi inking in-state when December 4 hits.
FOUR-STAR STAR WR DONOVAN MURPH VISITING CLEMSON
Donovan Murph is no stranger to Death Valley. The touted wide receiver from Columbia (SC) Irmo is set to return to Clemson this weekend for his official visit in what will likely be his final stop before Murph locks in his college decision on National Signing Day.
Clemson has had Murph at the top of their offensive board — a theme that continued even after the four-star wide receiver reclassified into the 2025 cycle. Tennessee, Alabama, and Ohio State have taken their shots at Murph, but this decision is expected to boil down to South Carolina and Clemson for one of the state’s top recruits.
The Gamecocks have continued to make inroads with the local blue-chip target, who has been on campus twice already this month and are trending in the right direction as time winds down in this recruitment. Dabo Swinney and the Tigers will get the final say with Murph this weekend.
FOUR-STAR RB DAUNE MORRIS VISITING TENNESSEE
Daune Morris was in Rocky Top earlier this month as Tennessee secured a huge victory over Kentucky and is ready to return this weekend for his official visit. The in-state Volunteers have been actively working to change the four-star back’s mind for months and took another step forward earlier this month, setting the stage for a massive opportunity this weekend in Knoxville.
Dylan Sampson’s continued success and record-breaking campaign toting the rock for Tennessee has been a major attention-grabbed for Morris, who is built in the same mold with his explosive running style and versatility as a runner and pass-catcher.
The Vols have been making Morris a top in-state priority in this 2025 cycle and will get the blue-chip do-it-all playmaker back right ahead of December’s Early Signing Period. Our Rivals intend points to the hay being in the barn for Tennessee to keep another talented in-state prospect close to home.
FOUR-STAR SAF STEPHEN MILLER VISITING SOUTH CAROLINA
Stephen Miller is set for a second visit down to Columbia in the past month as South Carolina continues to press hard to move the four-star safety off his pledge out-of-state to USC. Miller, who has been sensational on both sides of the ball at Greensboro (Ga.) Greene County High, was in Williams-Brice Stadium earlier this month with teammate and top South Carolina target four-star DL Kevin Wynn earlier this month for the Texas A&M contest.
The Gamecocks have continued to improve their standing with Miller ahead of this weekend’s official visit back to campus, and that theme is true for both blue-chippers from South Georgia. Our Rivals intel points to the Gamecocks in a position to flip both targets before the end of this cycle.
FOUR-STAR DL CHRISTIAN INGRAM VISITING SOUTH CAROLINA
Rivals four-star DL Christian Ingram is set for his penultimate official visit to South Carolina this weekend. Ingram has already made official visits to Kentucky and Michigan, and the 6-foot-5, 285-pound interior defensive lineman will cap the month with a trip back to Vanderbilt before making his decision during the Early Signing Period.
The Gamecocks have caught steam on the recruiting trail with several wide receiver and offensive and defensive line targets as December approaches. South Carolina is intent on bolstering their DL haul for the 2025 cycle and are trending to flip four-star DL Kevin Wynn away from Florida State. The Gamecocks are aiming to close the gap for Ingram with the Wildcats and Commodores this weekend.
BLAINE BRADFORD, ZAVION GRIFFIN-HAYNES VISITING OHIO STATE
It’s a huge weekend in Big Ten country as Ohio State hosts unbeaten Indiana for a colossal conference clash. As expected, the Shoe will be filled to the brim with blue-chip recruits, including a trio of pair of 2026 defensive targets high on the Buckeyes’ board for 2026.
Headlining this group is elite SAF Blaine Bradford making his return to Ohio State for the first time since working out for the Buckeyes’ staff in June. Bradford’s lead group of contenders is comprised of these Buckeyes, LSU, and Alabama, which is set to get the four-star SAF back to town for the second time next weekend this fall and the third time since June for the Iron Bowl.
Zavion Griffin-Haynes is set to return to the Shoe for the first time since committing in-state to North Carolina early on during his junior season at Rolesville (NC) High. Griffin-Haynes was back in Chapel Hill last weekend after stops at Tennessee and Georgia earlier this fall. Ohio State was the team trending with Griffin-Haynes prior to his pledge to North Carolina. Larry Johnson and co. haven’t taken their feet off the gas with the blue-chip EDGE that was on the cusp of committing earlier this year ahead of this weekend’s return to campus.
