Explaining The Latest Zach Bryan-Brianna Chickenfry-UFC Drama

Sadik

There is a new chapter in the Zach Bryan x Brianna Chickenfry breakup story following UFC 309 drama that Dave Portnoy was quick to point out and now we’re here to break it all down and highlight how it makes the ‘Smallest Man’ look even littler than ever. Also, I never in a million years thought I would become emotionally invested in the breakups and backstabbing of these people I’ve never met but there’s a Reality TV element to all of this that’s drawn in people like myself who would otherwise not know or care what’s happening in the lives of these people. We can’t look away.

For those seeing this drama for the very first time, let’s catch up on the major plot points: 5’7″ Country Music star Zach Bryan cheated on BFFS Pod co-host and Barstool Sports personality Brianna Chickenfry while they were dating and consequently ended the relationship. She alleges he then asked her to sign an NDA worth an approximate $12 million which she refused to sign. He kept her cat and has been showing it off on social media.

Brianna’s BFFS Pod co-hosts Dave Portnoy and Josh Richards then released a Zach Bryan diss track titled ‘Smallest Man’ which goes a thousand times harder than it should. That’s where I got sucked into paying attention to all of this.

Okay, now you are caught up and let’s get to the latest UFC 309 drama where a handful of UFC fighters came out to Zach Bryan songs, something very uncharacteristic of UFC fighters, and one of those fighters who shouted out Zach Bryan saying he was excited to come to his concert next month later went on a podcast and claimed he didn’t like Zach Bryan’s music at all and that was basically a ‘paid ad’ where someone offered him money to shout out Zach Bryan.

Explaining The Zach Bryan, Brianna Chickenfry, Dave Portnoy, UFC 309 Drama

UFC 309 was held last weekend at Madison Square Garden, the greatest arena on earth. Brianna Chickenfry was in attendance and it was her first UFC event. She had great seats and was close to the Octagon itself.

Several fighters came out to Zach Bryan songs which in and of itself is odd. For one fighter to come out to a Zach Bryan song would be strange but for multiple fighters to do it, that’s weird.

Then there was one fighter (mentioned above) who have Zach Bryan a shout out saying he was excited for Zach’s Brooklyn concert in December. At this point, it seemed pretty obvious something was up. That same fighter then later went onto a podcast and said he was paid to say that by someone. Here’s where the Barstool Sports personalities pick things up…

On Wednesday morning, Barstool Sports founder and Brianna Chickenfry’s BFFS Pod co-host Dave Portnoy dropped this TikTok video where he explains how the UFC fighter revealed he got paid to shout out Zach Bryan and didn’t know him or the music at all:

From Portnoy’s perspective, and everyone else’s, this make the ‘Smallest Man’ Zach Bryan look smaller than ever. It seems as if he was out there begging for shoutouts and good press from UFC guys in order to look important in front of the Madison Square Garden crowd and in front of his ex Brianna Chickenfry…

It goes so much deeper!

Barstool Sports’ Jack McGuire who has built a massive following on TikTok on the back of his ability to succinctly break down drama that people might not understand but would otherwise be interested in dropped this video. Here, he explains the person at the center of this drama is one of Zach Bryan’s closest friends who is also a UFC manager.

According to ‘Jack Mac,’ this friend of Zach Bryan’s manages a ton of UFC fighters and likely orchestrated the walk out songs and if what he’s alleging is true then we can all agree that none of the Zach Bryan references at MSG in front of Brianna Chickenfry were a coincidence:

UPDATE 1.0 : In that video, Jack Mac breaks it down… how he has reason to believe the agent to over 100 UFC fighters is the mastermind behind the Zach Bryan drama at UFC 30. Jack says one of the fighters that came out to Zach Bryan’s music was Jonathan Martinez. It happened again in the second fight of the night when Hafez walked out to ‘Oak Island.’

From there, Jack Mac looked up these two fighters’ previous walk out music and it was not Zach Bryan. That could be a coincidence, sure, but there appears to be something fishy going on at this point. He dug deeper and realized Hafez and Martinez are both represented by Iridium Sports Agency.

Who is this man?

The founder of Iridium Sports Agency? That’s a man by the name of Jason House. The person seen at the beginning of Jack’s video. One of his Jason’s pinned posts on Instagram just so happens to be him singing a song with Zach Bryan and then of the 405 people Zach Bryan follows on Instagram one of them is Jason House. Jack points out that this person would have known that Brianna Chickenfry was sitting ringside… Do coincidences exit? Jack says no.

Again, I have absolutely no idea how I became emotionally invested in any of this. But Barstool Sports has over the years done a truly masterful job at putting a ‘Reality TV’ layer over content and while this is very real drama between very real human beings, it all seems scripted at this point because they’re so good at telling the story in real time.

It will be interesting to see what Zach Bryan’s next move is. He is performing two shows at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn on December 18 and 19. Will there be some fans there booing Zach Bryan over all of this? Will htere be some retribution between now and then in the form of another diss track or something similar? I wouldn’t put it past anyone.
