Ex-‘Man Show’ Host Kimmel Cries Over Trump Victory

Remember “The Man Show?”

  • Bikini-clad girls jumping on trampolines?
  • Beer-gulping monologues?
  • Jokes about reversing women’s right to vote?
  • Blackface sketches targeting Oprah Winfrey and NBA great Karl Malone?

Jimmy Kimmel should. He was there for four of the show’s six seasons as co-host with Adam Carolla. You’d be hard-pressed to think so watching Kimmel today.

The 56-year-old host is as woke as they come, tuning ABC’s “Jimmy Kimmel Live” into a literal DNC party organ.

Last night, Kimmel teared up while recalling President Donald Trump’s resounding victory Tuesday over Kamala Harris. The hard-Left host pushed all pretense of humor aside while raging against his fellow Americans’ choice.

The progressive comic couldn’t hold back. His voice wavered. Tears pooled up in his eyes. Could he finish the monologue without breaking down?

He made it sound as if America had signed its own death warrant. That ignores the fact that Trump already served four years in the White House. The country not only survived.

It thrived.

Tell that to Kimmel.

“It was a terrible night for women, for children, for the hundreds of thousands of hard-working immigrants who make this country go, for health care, for our climate, for science, for journalism, for justice, for free speech. It was a terrible night for poor people, for the middle class, for seniors who rely on social security, for our allies in Ukraine, for NATO, for the truth, and democracy and decency. And it was a terrible night for everyone who voted against him. And guess what? It was a bad night for everyone who voted for him too, you just don’t realize it yet.”

Read that paragraph again. Can you find any comedy in it? “Jimmy Kimmel Live” is a late-night comedy platform. Or, at least it used to be.

It gets worse.

“Jimmy Kimmel Live” opened with a sketch that found the host planning to leave the country following Trump’s win. His comic sidekick Guillermo appears shocked by the decision.

“I can’t stay for another four years of this. Who knows what [Trump] is gonna do,” Kimmel tells Guillermo, neglecting to mention he earns millions for telling “jokes” four nights a week.

“You heard him. He said he has a list of enemies. You think I’m not on that list?” Kimmel explains in full delusion mode.

“Jimmy, we need you. We need you to get through this,” Guillermo said. “You have a very important voice.”

Apparently not, at least according to the election results.
